The Deres first defeat but a very good performance against a strong Blue Square South side.

Considering they played 7 of the team that faced Crystal Palace on Tuesday I thought we held our own very well and at times caused them some uncomfortable moments. For the first quarter we were chasing shadows as we found it difficult to come to terms with their quick slick passing which gave us very little opportunity to gain possession but even so we limited their goal scoring opportunities in that period. Once we had settled down we started to take the game to them and they certainly knew that they could not afford to relax against us.

Well done Deres, we are looking good.
