Firstly, parent of a player, just in case anyone wants to know.
There seems to be less general 'chat' on here and some concerns about how this season (and the last two to be honest) has unfolded.
I wonder whether we should all take a step-back and ask the question 'Where (what level in the pyramid) does the club want to be in 3 or 5 years ?' The 'club' could be represented by any number of officials who, I'm sure we all agree, work hard to keep things going, but here we need to have an answer 'from the top'.
If the club's aspirations are known, then we can all comment more validly on the performances we see week by week on the pitch and how the squad develops. Most (I think) supporters will always want 'success' which most would say boils down to promotion from the KPL (ignoring the extra costs that such success would entail). Some supporters will settle for a team that entertains and is made up of players that always give 100%......happy to be mid-table KPL side which provides entertainment.
So, to put the team's performances into perspective, what are the club's aspirations please ?
This may well have been covered on here or elsewhere on the (very well maintained) website and I've missed it, if so apologies. This is not an attempt to undermine all the hard work that really does goes on 'behindthe scenes' and remains largely unnoticed, just an open question to the club.
