Now im not going to claim to be a groundsman but, surely after the pitch had passed an inspection the ref should have made sure every effort was taken to play the game, I mean, I think every man and his dog knew the weather forcast for saturday was rain, and everyone knows that the 3-4 inch,s of snow that covered the pitch on friday would turn to water, and with the rain forcasted the ref should have known how the pitch would be come 3pm, but he took the gamble and passed the pitch safe. so why did he call it off at 2pm I as im sure many others made the trip to PVR only to be told its off, ARGHHHHHHH, the question i have is ..did the ref FORK the pitch where water had settled, doing this the game would have had a very good chance of being played SAFELY and it would have deffrosted the ground that was frozen,, im amazed a qualified ref didnt realise the ground would be frozen after all the ice snow and frezing weather we have had ,

oh well lets hope we get a game at Deal Town and give them a right ole tonking lol come on you deres
