Can I ask if there’s any news of Matt Bromby after the incident on Saturday? Sounds pretty dreadful – there was a campaign in the Non League Paper a few years ago about bladed boots, which can cause some horrific injuries, but it seemed to have subsided. Any views from those who were there? Best wishes to Matt for a quick recovery anyway.

The officials stated after the match on Saturday that they are to report any injuries caused by these type of boots, as they are still trying to get them banned!

As for Matt, he was taken to hospital to be stitched up and will be out of action for a couple of weeks.

We of course wish him a speedy and full recovery.

I wish Bromby a speedy recovery, we are really going to miss this fella, I rate him as the best in the kent league, i hope we got a good replacement, who ever he is he will be ok because the back four are playing well, and before the two injurys i think the strikers are playing well too, we need a couple of wingers , i think tipple will do a good job on the left wing once he returns, and i wouldnt drop budak, we need a right winger and a ball winner in the middle with huss, anyway thats my oppinion and i just know you will all disagree,
